    Hello S_Elena, True is an adjective. Like in: a true statement or a true story. So in your example above, this is true is correct but you cannot say "this is the true." Truth is a noun, so you can say "this is the truth." Actually, you say the truth when what you are saying is true. I hope it has helped

    Exercise of preposition

    The only way to master prepositions is by learning them as part of the new vocabulary that you're assimilating, and to do that, you need to learn new vocabulary in a phrase and not in isolation. So, you learn: 'interested in something', not just 'interested'; 'listen to something', bot just 'listen'.
