Hello Hari, It is usually de-stressing the function words that proves to be a challenge. Make a list of the function words that I present with the schwa sound in the lesson, and practise these separately first. Go to the extreme of dropping the vowel sound completely, e.g. was >> /wz/ or must >> mst. Then, go back to repeating them in sentences. Do not feel that you always need to use the weak forms when you speak. If you use the strong form, your message will still be perfectly clear. The main reason for familiarising yourself with these sounds is to make it easier to understand native speakers.
