Do not look at the transcript yet! 2. Listen to the recording once or twice without writing anything down. 3. Listen to each sentence, stop the recording, and write down / type out the full sentence. 4. Compare what you've written with the transcript and correct mistakes / fill in gaps. 5. Listen to the audio again while looking at the transcript. 6. Listen to the audio again without the transcript. 7. Optional fluency practice: Now you know the sentences so well that you can listen to and repeat them out loud with the speaker (shadow the speaker).
