Describing and expressing emotions

Elke

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm still having difficulties in deciding which is a state verb or an action verb, expecially when it comes to emotions. I know, they are mainly state verbs but are there exceptions like with the word "think".

I hope, dear Minoo, you haven't answered this question before. If yes, might you send me the link, please.

Thank you in advance.

Elke

Dear Elke,

This is one of the most complicated aspects of English, so don't worry if you still feel a little unsure. I'm including a lot of examples in the passages I'm writing up for the Tenses Bootcamp.

Have a look at this lesson in the PDF library. If you still need clarification or more examples, we can take 10-15 minutes at the start of Monday's WhatsApp session to review them together. I'm sure anyone else present will benefit too.

Happy revision!

Minoo
