Your answer is correct too: We ARE excited .... and (we ARE) LOOKING forward ....

However, as this is a formal e-mail, it is better to use the Present Simple tense rather than Present Continuous: We ARE excited ..... and (we) LOOK forward ...

Use 'I'm looking forward to' for friendly informal exchanges.
