Dear Minoo,

When I am reading "A tale of two cities" ,I know meaning of every word. But I cannot understand meaning of sentence. In other way I know every meaning of word but I don't know what he is going to say through that sentence.

Also, If I want to know meaning of a sentence can I ask from you?

Hello Udesh,

I'm afraid I won't be able to help you with this because I don't teach English literature.

As I replied in your other post, classics are very hard to understand because English vocabulary and grammar have changed a lot over the past centuries. That's why I said that reading classics cannot help you to write and speak better in today's world. However, if you enjoy English literature, there are sites that can help you to understand classics.
