Phrasal verbs with 'get'

'get' is one of the most widely used verbs in English. Not only does it have several meanings on its own, it also combines with various prepositions (particles) to form common phrasal verbs. In Intermediate Conversation Lessons, you have seen some phrasal verbs that contain the verb 'get', such as 'get on' and 'get over'.

In this lesson, we're going to:

  • Review the different meanings of 'get' on its own.
  • Review the phrasal verbs you already know with new examples.
  • Learn some more phrasal verbs with 'get'.
  • End with a gap-filling exercise to help your assimilation.
