Only if I bring my other appointment forward

Recommended Posts

In the conversation "Making and changing an appointment", and as per Note 2: 'another' & 'other', I think  "appointment" should be "appointments" in "Only if I bring my other appointment forward". Or did I miss something here?

Thank you very much for your helpful youtube videos and this very reach and informative website.

Hello Abubaker,

You're most welcome. I'm glad you're enjoying your studies with us.

Excellent question! I need to improve 'Note 2' by adding the following:

If you add 'the' or a possessive adjective (my, his, her, etc.) to 'another', you must drop 'an', and use 'other':

Plural: I have other appointments. Let me check my / the other appointments.

Singular: I have another appointment. Let me check my / the another appointment.
