You may be familiar with the expression 'It rings / doesn't ring a bell.', which means 'It sounds / doesn't sound familiar.'

Can you think of an expression that means 'to remind' to complete this dialogue:

A: This name rings a bell, but I can't remember where I've heard it.

B: I clearly remember where and when we heard it. Let me ......................... your ......................... (Let me remind you.)

 

ANSWER: Let me refresh / jog your memory.

Hello Serge,

Your third attempt is obviously the best ... ! :D

However, your first is the  correct one and very close to what I had in mind. See if you can find a different verb to 'refresh'.

Good try, Sergey, but no cigar! (I know you like colloquial expressions.)

It's another one of those illogical verbs! Hint: It's a three-letter verb.
