Head Tutor Minoo Posted November 27, 2017 Head Tutor Report Share Posted November 27, 2017 Hello Nik, You must use 'are' (with pronouns you, we & they): 1. When 'to be' is the main verb of a Present Simple sentence: Are you a doctor? 2. When 'to be' is the auxiliary verb of a Present Continuous sentence: Are we running late? 3. When 'to be' is used in formulating the Passive voice in the Present Simple or Present Continuous tenses: Are these checked everyday? / Are they being checked now? Link to comment
